Dancers who participated through the end of our 2023-2024 season are permitted to register before the general public. You will receive the new class schedule via email and will be offered enrollment in the below timelines.
Priority Registration for returning MAPC Dancers: Monday June 24 - Wednesday June 26
Registration for all other returning students: Friday, June 28
Classes will begin on Monday, September 9!

How do I register?
1) PREFERRED METHOD: Email alexa@motionartsdancestudios.com with your selected classes. Please wait for Alexa to confirm availability and tuition, then submit payment online.
2) OR email alexa@motionartsdancestudios.com with your selected classes. Please wait for Alexa to confirm availability and tuition, then you may drop off/mail cash or a check to the studio.
3) OR reserve an in-person appointment to register. This is the best option if you have extensive questions about your child’s schedule.
Please note our staff are not at the studio on a daily basis in the summer so calling the studio is not a recommended method of registration. In-person registrations are by appointment only.
Is my child guaranteed a spot in their selected class?
Enrollment is not considered complete without receipt of the first tuition installment. After the initial enrollment request we will hold your spot for 24 hours. In that 24 hour period you must submit the first tuition installment. If 24 hours pass without submitting payment, your child’s spot may be passed on to someone on the waitlist.
Please note we will not send a reminder that the 24 hour mark is approaching. If registration is not completed in that time our team will assume you have forfeited your spot.
Will classes sell out? What do I do if something I want is sold out?
Yes, especially for popular styles such as ballet and modern or big age groups like 8-10 and 13+. We can always place you on the waitlist and let you know if something opens up, and of course offer suitable alternatives on a different day/ in a different style.
Although you may register at any point this summer, we do recommend that returning students sign up before July 8, as once registration is open to the general public it’s more likely that things will sell out.
How do I know what level my child is?
For children under the age of 10, levels are primarily determined by age. The age cutoff is November 30.
● Pre-Dance: ages 2.5-3
● Level 1: ages 4-5
● Level 2: ages 6-7
● Level 3: ages 8-10
For dancers ages 11+ (Levels 4,5,6) placement is a mix of age and experience. Please ask our team which level is best for your child. Also please note, Level 5 and 6 have minimum class requirements. If your teen wants to participate in 1-2 classes recreationally, they may enroll in our Teen Open Level classes.
Is it okay to change our mind as we get closer to September?
If there’s space available in another class, you may ask to switch before the season starts. However please note, tuition received is nonrefundable and nontransferable to other accounts or families.
